via yahoo headlines is an article about charity goats that really made me smile...goat-giving is all the rage this Christmas, it seems...

also the Oakland Tribune is asking citizens to send in their secondhand copies of "1984"...these are being collected to send to members of congress...

those who are following news about MTR might want to read fragments from floyd a few posts back to find an AP post about disaster tourism...mountaintop removal is specifically mentioned...

hi folks, hope you are all doing well
if you are a return visitor tadaima and thank you so much for your re-visit

right now I am in the middle of several web architecture projects for other clients so I hope that all the loops here are working okay, I have not had much time for testing them

There is a new post in the loop about the Northern lights...apparently, they may be packing up & going to Siberia, if what some scientists are predicting comes true. The post is on page 2 of this loop.

Directly north of here, or somewhere close to it, I will be posting some stuff on the Inuit sled dog, a breed with a fascinating history.

Other content in the Northern loop area includes a bit of news about the tragic death of a bipolar sufferer in Miami yesterday. May he rest in peace.
