here are some newsbits

the first bit of news is, A'Court Bason will be playing music at his art reception this Saturday, the 21st of October

I believe that the festivities begin at 6 and the music will begin at 8
this will be in Floyd at Over the Moon Gallery

Floyd Fandango will be going on this weekend as well. Junior Brown, Wild Turkeys, Carbon Culture, and many others will play. Billy & Chris will play in the Twilight Lounge on several occasions.

oh yes I am supposed to mention this - I will be having a show at Cafe Sol starting in late November. Details on this soon. A postcard may be in the works. I am not sure.

so, the folk festival in Richmond was incredibly great
my big dream came true & I got to see Hazel Dickens perform live

we met a million nice people and saw so many interesting things
some images are here and there along the loop

Celtic Night will begin tomorrow night at the Cellar Restaurant in downtown Blacksburg
traditional Irish music sessions will begin at 9:30 every third Thursday, starting tomorrow
